QUOTE INTELLIGENCE

We give you the market, not just a number.

Have you ever received a freight quote and wondered:

“How did they come up with that price?”

Now you can see what goes into it.

Robo brings together current and historical freight rates, market conditions, shipment details, equipment options, routes, weather, and more—giving you real information behind your quote.

Have you ever wished

  1. …you could choose between price and placement speed?

Now you can. Every quote gives you three market positions—Low Range, Market, and Priority—each with its own price, Estimated placement time, and Estimated responses to place. You choose the price and placement speed that works for you.

  2. …you could see the market behind the price?

Now you can. Robo shows you current and historical lane rates through the Market Rate Window, from recent market activity to as much as one year of lane history. You can see the low-to-high market range, recent averages, and pricing trends behind the quote.

  3. …you could see current outbound market conditions?

See what the freight market looks like at pickup and delivery. Your quote includes current DAT market conditions, showing freight demand, truck availability, load-to-truck ratios, and market tightness. This helps you understand carrier availability and estimated placement times.

  1. …you could see exactly what information your quote was built from?

Now you can. Robo confirms the shipment details used to build your quote—including origin, destination, commodity, weight, units, pickup and delivery requirements, and equipment—so you can see exactly what we are working with before the load moves forward.

  2. …you could see more of what may affect the lane before you book it?

Now you can. Your quote can include mileage, estimated drive time, pickup and delivery weather, route conditions, appointment information, and other lane details that may affect pricing, timing, or placement.

  3. …you could see which equipment fits your freight before carrier outreach begins?

Now you can. Robo reviews the load details and recommends the truck type that best fits the shipment, while also showing alternate equipment options that may work. That gives you more context before the load ever reaches the carrier market.

Freight quote questions

Common freight quote questions

What information do you need for a freight quote?

Start with the pickup location, delivery location, pickup timing, what you are shipping, total weight and equipment type if you know it. Pallet or piece count, dimensions and special handling requirements help when they affect equipment selection or pricing. If you do not know something, leave it unknown rather than guessing.

How quickly will I receive my freight quote?

It depends on the shipment. Loads that need extra equipment research, unusual dimensions or missing shipment details take longer. If something specific is needed before the shipment can be priced, we tell you exactly what is missing.

Do I need to know what trailer I need?

No. If you know the required equipment, include it. If you are unsure, give us the freight dimensions, weight, commodity and loading requirements you know — those details are what decide whether the shipment needs a dry van, reefer, flatbed, step deck or something else. The Freight Load Planner works the same way.

Can you quote flatbed, reefer and specialized freight?

Yes. Every trailer and truck in the equipment library is an answer the form offers, from dry van and refrigerated through open deck, box truck and cargo van. If what you need is not in the list, choose Other and describe it.

Does requesting a freight quote book my shipment?

No. A quote request gives us the information needed to price and review the shipment. Nothing is booked until you approve the rate and confirm the shipment.
