Residential service applies when the carrier treats the physical address as a residence. A business name does not automatically make a home address commercial.

A home business can still be residential
TForce Freight defines a residence as a home and specifically includes a business operating out of a home. It also says an address that can be viewed as residential or commercial may be treated as a residence.
Street and property access matter
Tell me about narrow streets, low branches, steep grades, unpaved access, gates and limited turning room.
Estes publishes specific access restrictions for its own residential final-mile product. Those are service-specific, not universal industry limits.
