Light, bulky freight is often billed on the space it occupies rather than what it weighs. The divisor that decides this differs by carrier and by service, so enter the one on your rate confirmation rather than assuming a standard.
Interior figures are nominal. Wheel wells, bulkheads, reefer equipment, load bars and individual trailer build all reduce usable space. Flatbed height is open, so height limits come from legal and permit rules rather than the trailer. These tools are for planning and estimating. Carrier rules, classification and usable capacity vary by carrier, equipment and commodity.
